hello all. I am a home aspireing dj, and i have a numark cdx.?

I baut it and love the way it works, but for some reason it’s not reading my disks, but some times it does. It sounds like the drive isn’t spinning up, or it’s having a hard time spinning up. Do i need a new drive for this thing? Thanks lots!

Does it work with normal store bought cd’s with music already on them? If it does, it may be a problem with the way you are burning your cd’s. If it does not work with store bought cd’s, it has a problem – you’ll need to return it or get it fixed.

Any cd you play in a cd player needs to be burned as a normal audio cd – most DJ cd players will not play cd burned with mp3′s very well.
