Sony MDR 7506 – Most Versatile Headphones?

Some headphones are more fancy, with more bells and whistles, and of course a higher price tag. Others are more simple, without as many of today’s important features. The Sony MDR 7506, on the other hand, is neither of these things. With its great sound and comfort, along with its affordable price tag, it might very well be the most versatile headphone on the market today.

Although not technically of the ‘Noise Cancelling genre’ (and not in that higher price range either), these headphones have superb external noise reducing abilities. While wearing these headphones, it truly is as if you are turning off the switch on the world around you. The 40 mm drivers in these headphones give a very powerful sound, while still coming in clear and reducing any outside noise that you wouldn’t wan to get in. For those lesser ‘technically savvy’ people, simply put, these headphones are awesome.

In addition, these headphones are great for travel as they are foldable, and come with their own soft case to take with anywhere you’d like, be it just your normal trip to the gym to workout, or across the globe on your next vacation.

It would be a lie to say that these are the very best headphones available on the market today, however when looking for a set of headphones in the less than $100 range, they simply cannot be beat. They can be found (albeit a bit more expensively) in retail stores, but for the best available prices and online discounts can be found with user reviews at certain online websites as well.
